Overview
Dara Venture Partners is a private equity fund manager established to invest in Africa’s food and agribusiness value chain. The firm manages the Feed Africa Agriculture Fund (FAA Fund), a blended capital impact investment vehicle dedicated to investing in smallholder farmers and small-to-medium sized rural agribusinesses/SMEs in Africa, starting with Ghana.

The fund’s ambition is to promote sustainable, inclusive agricultural value chains in Africa, reducing rural poverty and enhancing climate-resilient food systems.
Mission
The FAA Fund’s works to bridge funding gaps for smallholder farmers and agri-SMEs, fostering economic and social development in Ghana and other targeted African countries. To this end, the Fund offers integrated and complementary areas of intervention below:
Direct Investments
Direct investments in strategically positioned and unique agricultural and agribusiness value chain SMEs, with scaling potential. Direct investments into farmer organizations aggregators, and cooperatives.
INDIRECT INVESTMENTS
Indirect Investments into traditional financial institutions such as Rural and Community Banks, Savings & Loans Companies, and Micro Finance Institutions/MFIs for on-lending to smallholders, cooperatives, and farmer organizations, as well as agribusiness SMEs.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FACILITY
Technical assistance facility providing advisory services to cooperatives and farmer organisations, SMEs, and financial intermediaries, enabling them to access new business development opportunities.
